Nose Landing Gear Update 7

The nose gear is now installed in the fuselage. It took quite a long time until the last hole was drilled, the final nut tightened, the last grease nipple screwed in, and the burnt-out 24V power supply replaced. What’s still missing are the uplock and the control system. I've been waiting for weeks for components like proximity switches and bolts, which are currently difficult to find.

However, the mechanism is already working perfectly. The actuator's force is more than enough to easily move it into the up position. The extremely expensive high-performance bearing bushings are handling the load pressures without the slightest deformation, and the fuselage structure is absorbing all the forces with ease.
